DCS - Design

The DCS consists of a transparent cylindrical glove box with two glove ports. A flange in stainless steel with a flat gasket is attached to the bottom of the DCS to ensure that the drum is airtight.

An attachment device, which is welded onto the flange, keeps the liners in position during the emptying process. A free-moving suction lance, attached to the glove box with a bellows to seal the system, is introduced from the top.
